A note from the founder
When the vision felt clear, but the path became difficult
I know what it feels like to put your hope, time, and resources into something you believed was meant to happen. There was a season when I thought I had it all figured out. I carried a vision, made the move to begin it, and believed God had made provision for the path ahead. Then the plan I thought was set began to fall apart, one piece at a time.
I had accumulated major debt pursuing that vision, and I could not understand why the path felt so difficult when I had prayed, fasted, and sought guidance from my spiritual covering. When I stepped back and focused again on God’s Word, I began to see that the season was bigger than the plan I had made.
The desire in our hearts may say “now,” while God says “not yet.” Preparation can include refining the path, changing who travels with you, and growing you for what comes next. The storm does not promise an easy outcome, but it can become a place where you return to God, receive encouragement, and keep taking the next faithful step.
“The storm is truly a test. One day, you may look back at the prayers, frustration, and moments you wanted to give up, and simply say, ‘Lord, I thank You.’”
